We really wanted the beautiful natural WHITE wood floors....the darker color on the left is the best we could get. Which is beautiful, but not the look we are going for. Soooooo disappointing. However, the rich look of the dark finish is always pretty (just super average and boring...NOT our goal) and we know what to expect.

RIP dishwasher/More kitchen work

RIP 1990 Maytag dishwasher! I noticed the other day the dish washer wasn't working. I thought it was because the washer was connected to the outlet that was turned off. This morning however, it's official- IT DIED.

The  hardwood is finally going to get the facelift it deserves! By the end of the week, we will have gorgeous original hardwood throughout the living room, dining room, and Garrity's room!
