Painting the master bedroom

We changed the cream to a bright white! Crazy how these wonderful  men accomplish in a couple of hours, what would take me days and days!

Staining the bedroom floors

The flooring crew worked to repair the spots that needed attention and sand, and then restrained the floors; and finally varnished the beautiful new floors!

This carpet is fantastic quality...but hiding underneath is beautiful hard wood!

Guest bedroom floors

Under this carpet we discovered more beautiful hardwood! Bo is taking up the carpet today and the flooring guys will be here Mon-Friday to restore the floors!

Trim

We're heading into the home stretch...all of the floors have been redone except the bathrooms (grand finale), and the "green room" which we will likely wait until everything else has been completed prior to replacing that. The green carpet is only a matter of not being our style...it's great carpet, so we will carry on with it for a while. 

The painters are coming next Sunday to paint our master bedroom and finish painting the trim. After that we are done until January when the tile crew is available to complete our walk-in shower in the master bath.

Carpet and padding up...now to remove the staples, nails, and trim.
